Blaze Rips Through South Norwood Home
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters battled a fierce blaze on Whitehorse Lane, South Norwood, early this morning (January 26).
Terraced House Ravaged by Flames
Fire gutted half of the ground floor and most of the first floor in the terraced house. Three occupants escaped before firefighters arrived, with one man taken to hospital after assessment at the scene.

- The London Fire Brigade received 12 emergency calls about the fire.
- Fire crews were dispatched at 7.54am and had the blaze under control by 9.06am.
- Firefighters from West Norwood, Woodside, and Norbury stations tackled the inferno.
