Armed Incident Sparks Swift Police Action

Police made fresh arrests following a tense armed incident on Theaklen Drive, St Leonards, last Tuesday (24 January).

Raids Yield Weapons and Drugs

Officers executed warrants at two Stonehouse Drive homes, uncovering several weapons, including what’s believed to be a blank firing pistol and blank ammunition. They also seized drugs and mobile phones during the raids.

Two Arrested Over Firearms and Drugs Charges

  • A 16-year-old boy from Battle faces charges of affray, possession of an offensive weapon, and intent to supply Class A drugs.
  • A 29-year-old man from Tunbridge Wells, Kent, was arrested for possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear, carrying an offensive weapon in public, and involvement in Class A drug supply.

Both suspects remain in police custody as investigations continue.
