Shocking Robbery Outside Co-Op Targets Woman in Her 70s
Attack at Cash Machine on High Street
On January 17 at around 5pm, a brazen robbery unfolded outside the Co-Op on High Street, right next to Hooper’s Place. A woman in her 70s had just withdrawn cash from the ATM when a thug struck her with his shoulder and snatched the money before fleeing the scene.
Suspect Arrested but Still on the Loose
Police quickly sprung into action and arrested a man in his 40s linked to the robbery. He’s now been released on bail as investigations continue.
