Brazen Drug Dealer Jordan Parker Jailed for Five Years After Police Find Crack, Knuckle Duster, and Taser at His Home

Under Investigation but Still Breaking the Law

Jordan Parker, a 22-year-old Tyneside drug dealer, showed no shame despite being under police investigation. Officers hunting down local criminals found him with crack cocaine, cannabis, a knuckle duster, a taser, a machete, and a BB gun during multiple raids on his Gateshead home.

Multiple Arrests and Dangerous Driving Incident

Parker had already been arrested several times for drug supply offences before being charged in November. Police swooped following a Project Adder warrant targeting drug and alcohol related crime. Just two months later, Parker crashed his car into a wall in Winlaton. Passers-by detained him until police arrived. Officers recovered more drugs, weapons, and nearly £2,000 cash from his vehicle.

Locked Up After 14 Offences

Charged with 14 offences, including possession of crack cocaine and cannabis, conspiracy to supply, possession of prohibited weapons, and criminal property, Parker pleaded guilty and was remanded before being sentenced to five years at Newcastle Crown Court on March 8.

Police Praise Community and Project Adder Efforts

Detective Sergeant Fran Joyce of Northumbria Police said: “Jordan Parker was brazen in breaking the law. Even while under investigation, he kept dealing and was caught driving dangerously with illegal substances.

“Thankfully, members of the public stepped in to stop him fleeing the scene after his crash. Our communities are tired of criminals thinking they are above the law.”

“Thanks to thorough investigation and partnership with the criminal justice system, Parker has been put behind bars. Project Adder will continue disrupting drug supply and supporting those affected.”
