Man, 64, Stabbed to Death in Thornhill Murder Probe

New Arrest in Southampton

Mark Noke, 64, was fatally stabbed in the chest at his home in Warburton Road, Thornhill, in the early hours of Saturday, 25 February.

Yesterday morning (15 March), police arrested a 39-year-old Southampton man on suspicion of assisting an offender. He has since been bailed as investigations continue.

Multiple Suspects Bailed

Six other men, aged between 20 and 31, have already been arrested on suspicion of murder. They too have been released on bail while inquiries proceed.

Police Urge Public to Help

“We continue to follow up multiple leads and work through a large amount of evidence as part of our investigation into Mark’s murder,” said DI Elizabeth Brunt.

“Please continue to report any information which could help bring those responsible to justice.

“Extra patrols continue in the Thornhill area, so if you see an officer and have any concerns, please speak to them.”
