Damage spree hits dozens of vehicles in one night

Just after 9pm on Tuesday 21 March, vandals struck on Mill Road, shattering the windows of three parked cars. The chaos didn’t stop there.

That same night, cars parked on Robert Street and Somerset Road also fell victim, with windows smashed. Meanwhile, a vehicle on Gladstone Road was found with a damaged light, and on Manor Road, broken windows and crippled wipers left drivers fuming.

Police hunting culprits with CCTV leads

Residents can report damage or pass tips by calling 01843 222289, quoting incident number 21-1403. Alternatively, whistleblowers can stay anonymous by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 or submitting an online form.
