Father of Five Left Fighting for Life After Hit-and-Run in Northfield

West Midlands police are hunting a hit-and-run driver after a dad was left with life-changing injuries in Northfield. Robert Field, 66, was hit while crossing Hoggs Lane near Cheverton Road on the evening of Saturday, 22 February.

Dark Blue Car Flees Scene Leaving Mirror Behind

The culprit was driving a small dark blue car towards Frankley Beeches Road. They sped off without stopping, abandoning a passenger-side wing mirror at the scene.

Family Issues Emotional Plea for Help

Good Samaritans rushed to help Mr Field, who was rushed to hospital. He remains in a critical condition. His family have shared a graphic image of his injuries and are pleading for witnesses to come forward.
