Two Dead and Two Seriously Hurt in Horror A16 Crash
Tragedy struck the A16 today with a fatal multi-vehicle collision killing two people and seriously injuring two others. The crash happened opposite Pinchbeck near the roundabout linking to the B1180.
Crash Involved Toyota Auris, Volvo Lorry, and Vauxhall Meriva
Emergency services rushed to the scene at 12:31 PM after reports of the crash involving a black Toyota Auris, a white Volvo lorry, and a black Vauxhall Meriva. The driver of the Toyota Auris, a man in his 50s, sadly died at the scene.
A female passenger in the Auris, also in her 50s, remains critically ill in hospital. The Vauxhall Meriva was driven by a woman in her 30s, who also tragically lost her life. The lorry driver, a man in his 30s, suffered minor injuries.
Road Closures and Investigation Underway
The stretch of A16 around West Marsh Road is still closed as police continue their investigations and recovery operations. Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information or dashcam footage that could help the inquiry.
