Havant Town Centre Set for Major Makeover

Big changes are coming to Havant! Havant Borough Council has snapped up a demolition firm to tear down the underused Bulbeck Road car park, clearing the way for exciting new developments right in the town’s heart.

Experts on the Job

After a competitive tender, Portsmouth-based Hughes & Salvidge have won the contract. Established in 1964, they bring decades of demolition expertise. They promise to carry out the work carefully, keeping disruption and noise to a minimum for local residents and businesses.

Funding Boost Fuels Ambition

The Bulbeck Road site has long been overlooked, making little use of its prime central location. Now, thanks to a £1.65 million cash injection from the Department for Levelling Up & Communities’ Brownfield Land Release Fund 2, demolition plans are set to kick off later this year.
