Brutal attack shocks Nottingham early Sunday morning!

Man in his 20s assaulted at Esso garage

Police rushed to the Esso garage on Nuthall Road, Whitemoor, Nottingham, at 5.45am on 2 April after a man in his 20s staggered into the shop seriously injured.

The victim was treated at hospital and, thankfully, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police launch urgent appeal for witnesses

Detective Sergeant James Hirst from Nottinghamshire Police described the attack as “violent” and said officers are probing what happened before, during, and after the incident.

“We urge anyone who saw anything to come forward,” said DS Hirst. “This is a busy road—even at this early hour—and there could be motorists with dash-cam footage that could help our investigation.”

Heavy police presence as inquiries continue

Officers will be highly visible in the area throughout the day, but officials believe the assault was an isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the public.

DS Hirst added, “If anyone has concerns, I’d encourage them to speak to an officer.”
