Teen Attacked and Robbed in Brutal Early Morning Assault
In the early hours of Saturday, 1 April, an 18-year-old man was viciously attacked and robbed on Wych Lane near Holbrook Primary School.
Victim Ambushed and Beaten
Between 3am and 3.30am, the victim was walking towards Brookers Lane when two males appeared behind him near the alleyway between Brookers Lane and Honeysuckle Close. They demanded his phone, then punched and kicked him to the ground.
One attacker grabbed the victim’s wallet before both fled towards Holbrook Primary School.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Officers describe the suspects as white males, aged 15-19, medium build, standing 5ft 7in to 5ft 10in tall. Both wore grey hoodies and dark tracksuit bottoms.
“This was a violent and sustained assault with repeated punches and kicks causing serious injuries,” said Police Constable George Aram.
“If you saw anything or have CCTV footage, call 101 quoting incident 44230128775.”
Anyone with information is urged to come forward immediately to assist the investigation.
