Teen Arrested Over Fatal Chingford Stabbing
A 16-year-old boy was arrested on Wednesday, 12 April, and is set to appear in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 14 April. Chima’s family have been informed of the latest arrest.
Two Other Teens Held in Murder Probe
Police have also arrested two other teenage boys on suspicion of murder. One, aged 15, has been bailed until early July for further enquiries. The other, aged 16, remains in custody.
Rapid Response to Stabbing Incident
Officers rushed to Longshaw Road, Chingford, at 9.21pm on Monday, 10 April, after reports of a stabbing. Police arrived within three minutes, alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.
Despite heroic efforts by the public and emergency teams providing first aid, Chima tragically died at the scene.

Chima’s next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from family liaison officers.
