Tragedy on A52 as car flips onto roof in Stoke-on-Trent crash
Emergency rush to dramatic crash site
West Midlands Ambulance Service scrambled two ambulances, a paramedic officer, and two BASICS doctors to a serious crash on the A52 between Cellarhead and Kingsley Moor at 9.23pm.
One man dies at the scene
A spokesman for the ambulance service revealed crews found an overturned car resting on its roof. One man was already being treated by an off-duty police officer, but sadly paramedics confirmed he was dead at the scene.
Second victim injured but stable
Another man involved suffered injuries that are not believed to be serious. He was treated on site and rushed to Royal Stoke University Hospital for further care.
