Costa Recalls Sandwiches and Wraps Over Choking Hazard

Costa has slammed the brakes on several of its popular sandwich and wrap products after discovering they may contain small stones. The risky bits could cause choking, making the affected food unsafe to eat.

Which Costa Products Are Affected?

  • Chicken & Bacon Caesar Wrap – 192g packs, Use by: 6, 7 & 8 September 2023
  • Southern Fried Chicken Wrap – 214g packs, Use by: 6, 7 & 8 September 2023
  • Chicken Salad Sandwich – 206g packs, Use by: 6, 7 & 8 September 2023
  • BLT Sandwich – 182g packs, Use by: 6, 7 & 8 September 2023

What You Need to Do

If you’ve bought any of these products, don’t take the risk. Costa urges customers not to eat them. Instead, return the items to the store for a full refund.
