Police Release Image Of Suspect In Edgware Rape Investigation

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police have taken a significant step forward in an ongoing investigation into a harrowing rape allegation in Edgware. They have released an image of a man they urgently want to speak to in connection with the incident.

The alleged rape occurred at approximately 00:40 on Wednesday, September 6, when the victim, a man in his twenties, was making his way home from a night out with friends. He was outside Edgware underground station on Station Road when the horrifying incident unfolded.

According to the victim’s account, he was approached by an unknown man who struck up a conversation with him. Tragically, the interaction took a sinister turn as the man is alleged to have sexually assaulted him in a nearby car park area.
