A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Alison Dodds in Blackpool. The incident unfolded when authorities were alerted to a distressing scene on Redcar Road, where Alison Dodds, a 51-year-old woman, was found lifeless in a flat.

The distressing discovery was reported to the police shortly before 11.00 on Thursday, September 21, 2023. A subsequent post-mortem examination conducted by the Home Office revealed that Alison had succumbed to multiple serious injuries.

In a heartfelt tribute, Alison’s family expressed their profound grief, stating, “We are shook up and upset that Alison has died in this way, it is not the way she should have gone and we all love her and miss her.” The pain and sorrow of her loss are palpable in their words.
