Provocative Teen Drama “tell Me Everything” Returns For Second Season On Itvx

The acclaimed teen drama series “Tell Me Everything” is set to make a highly-anticipated return for its second season on ITVX. As part of a two-series deal with ITV, the show, rooted in truthful observations about life in the 2020s, delves into the specific challenges faced by today’s generation and their mental health struggles.

“Tell Me Everything” is produced by Noho Film and Television in association with ITV Studios and is created by Mark O’Sullivan. The first season provided an insightful look into the lives of the characters as they navigated the complexities of growing up in the 2020s. The show’s narrative explores love, loss, hope, despair, anxiety, and depression, all unique to this generation.

In the second season, the story continues from where it left off in the first series. Jonny and his family have relocated to Hitchin, marking a fresh start for them. Jonny is still on his path to recovery and has begun to make new friends at college: Naisha, Dylan, Ella, and Bex. Each character faces their own set of challenges and experiences the highs and lows of teenage life at Hitchin college.

The cast includes returning actor Eden. H Davies as Jonny Murphy, along with Nethra Tilakumara, George Hawkins, Sophie Ablett, Daisy Jacob, Levi Mattey, Ammar Duffus, and Dylan Brady, who join the series for its second instalment.

The six-part drama is scheduled to air on ITV2 and ITVX in the coming year. The series has been commissioned for ITVX by Head of Drama Polly Hill and Drama Commissioner Huw Kennair Jones. Kennair-Jones expressed excitement about bringing “Tell Me Everything” back to screens, highlighting its exploration of what it’s like to grow up in Britain in the 2020s.

The executive producers of the show, Robert Wulff-Cochrane and Camilla Campbell from Noho, emphasised the unique blend of comedy and emotional depth that “Tell Me Everything” offers, addressing the challenges faced by contemporary teenagers. Screenwriter Mark O’Sullivan expressed his surreal excitement about returning to this compelling world, emphasising the personal connections that audiences can form with the characters.

“Tell Me Everything” has garnered attention for its honest portrayal of the issues young people face today, making it a standout series for viewers.

ITV Studios serves as the international distributor of “Tell Me Everything,” ensuring its reach beyond the UK audience. The series has resonated with audiences, offering a window into the lives of today’s youth and the struggles they encounter on their journey to adulthood.
