Top Drug Boss Jesiah Galloway Gets 12 Years in Prison
Sheffield’s organised crime chief Jesiah Galloway and his gang have been slammed with over 30 years behind bars after a five-year police probe smashed their drug empire.
Prison Calls Expose Drug Empire
The Sheffield Fortify Team uncovered Galloway’s brazen operation in March 2019. Despite being locked up, the 29-year-old mastermind was still ordering drugs via messages to his girlfriend. The investigation revealed his utter contempt for the justice system.
Two key runners, Doyle James and Curtis Woodhead, came under the spotlight after a dramatic roads policing chase in January 2019. Woodhead was nabbed with Class A drugs, and police found more drugs nearby. Forensic tests even found Galloway’s DNA on the seized crack cocaine and heroin, firmly linking the trio.
Supplier Betrays Himself in Text Row
The probe peeled back layers of a vast city-wide network, leading straight to Galloway’s supplier, Kingsley Scott. The 29-year-old “unemployed” dealer gave himself away during a heated text argument with Galloway.
Scott sold Galloway 250g of cocaine in 2020, but it was poor quality. When Galloway’s attempt to turn it into crack cocaine failed, a furious texting clash exploded between them. This slip-up led to Scott’s December 2021 arrest. Officers seized cocaine, piles of cash, expensive jewellery, and luxury items that didn’t fit Scott’s supposed lifestyle.
Gang’s Massive £800k Drug Haul Exposed
Despite being arrested in January 2022, Galloway kept running his drug lines until police finally cracked the ring. Alongside trusty mate Idris Anderson and driver Raja Khan, Galloway moved 8kg of crack cocaine and heroin from May 2022 to January 2023, raking in over £800,000.
After their arrests, police found large amounts of cash and the latest batch of drugs in their possession.
Detective Sergeant Jim Dyson said: “This has been a lengthy operation, but officers’ determination has paid off, and those involved now face time in prison. Drugs ruin communities, fuel knife and gun crime and put users at serious risk.”
