Man stabbed to death in west London evening horror

A man was tragically stabbed to death on a busy west London footbridge on Thursday evening. Police are desperate for witnesses to come forward and help crack the case.

Brave Passerby Flags Down Police

At around 6.42pm, a vigilant member of the public spotted a severely injured man on Kensal Road, W10, and quickly stopped a police car to raise the alarm. Officers rushed to the scene and gave urgent first aid while waiting for paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.

Despite their best efforts, the 36-year-old victim died at the scene. Although formal ID is pending, the man has been named as Tyrone Pinnock. His family has been informed and is receiving support from specialist officers.

Specialist Detectives Hunt Killer

The Met’s Specialist Crime Command is leading the investigation. Detective Chief Inspector Neil Rawlinson urged anyone with info to come forward. He said: “This happened just after 5pm on a busy footbridge over Harrow Road. We’ve spoken to several witnesses but need more help.”

Rawlinson added: “If you were near Harrow Road between Bravington Road and Third Avenue from 5pm to 7pm, please get in touch. Any dash cam footage could be crucial.”
