The family of Sharon Butler, 64, are heartbroken after she was found with serious injuries in a Leigh-on-Sea garden. Sharon was discovered on Whitehouse Meadows on the evening of Tuesday, November 7.
Emergency Crews Rush To Scene But It’s Too Late
Police and paramedics arrived around 9pm following reports of an assault. Despite their best efforts, Sharon sadly died at the scene.

In a touching statement, Sharon’s loved ones said, “Our world has been shattered by the loss of our loving daughter and sister. Our lives will never be the same without her. She will never be forgotten and will forever remain in our hearts.” They have asked for privacy during this difficult time.
Man Charged With Murder
Kevin Shepherd, 54, from Whitehouse Meadows, has been charged with Sharon’s murder. He is currently in custody and will appear at Basildon Crown Court on Friday, January 5, 2024.
