Emergency services rushed to a horror crash on the B4376 at 6.11pm yesterday.
Ambulances and Air Support Scramble to Scene
West Midlands Ambulance Service dispatched two ambulances, two paramedic officers, the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car from Cosford, plus a Community First Responder to the crash site.
Car Ploughs Into Tree – Female Passenger Dies
A West Midlands Ambulance spokeswoman revealed: “On arrival, crews found one car had come off the road and crashed into a tree.”
Shockingly, the female passenger was in critical condition. Paramedics fought to save her with advanced life support, but despite all efforts, she was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Male Driver Injured but Stable
The male driver sustained injuries that are not believed to be serious. He was treated on site before being taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for further care.
