Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Marylebone Road

Tragedy struck on Marylebone Road near Allsops Place on Thursday night. Police were called at around 10pm after two women were hit by a car. Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance, rushed to the scene.

One Woman Dies, Another Injured

One woman, believed to be in her 50s, was treated at the scene but sadly died despite efforts to save her. The second woman, thought to be in her 40s, was taken to hospital and has since been discharged.

Hit-and-Run Driver Found, Two Men Arrested

The driver fled the scene but the car was soon found parked nearby. Two men aged 29 and 38 later turned themselves in at a police station. Both were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop. They remain in custody.

Witnesses Urged to Come Forward

Road closures remain around the crash site. Police are appealing for anyone who saw the incident or has dashcam footage to get in touch. Call 101 or tweet @MetCC quoting CAD7169/7Dec.
