Two Men Charged with Attempted Murder After Smethwick Shooting

West Midlands Police have charged two men over a shooting incident that rocked Smethwick last month. Tyjon Cogger, 22, and Saabir Mohamed, 25, face attempted murder charges following the early morning attack on October 23.

Gunfire Rocks Cape Hill in Early Hours

The shooting took place just after 3am on Cape Hill, leaving the victim with gunshot wounds. Thankfully, the injuries are not life-threatening. The victim was rushed to hospital for treatment.

Charged Men Remanded in Custody

Both Cogger and Mohamed, who have no fixed address, were remanded in custody and are set to appear at Birmingham Crown Court in January. Police are pursuing all leads in the case.
