Concern for Kids Swimming After Dark
A worried member of the public raised the alarm with HM Coastguard at 9:09pm after spotting three youngsters swimming in the river. The late hour sparked serious safety concerns.
RNLI Quick to Respond
The RNLI were called out immediately. However, by the time they were gearing up, one of the kids had already left the water. The team then searched the area to ensure everyone was safe.
All Clear After Swift Check
After a thorough check, the RNLI confirmed the area was safe. Everyone was stood down, ending what turned out to be a quick and efficient response.
Fast action from Rye RNLI once again averted potential danger.
