Emergency Chaos at Notting Hill Gate Station
London’s Notting Hill Gate station was thrown into turmoil this evening as police and paramedics rushed to a serious incident on the tracks. British Transport Police (BTP) were called around 7pm after reports of a casualty.
Heavy Police and Ambulance Presence
More than a dozen police vehicles and ambulances swarmed the central London station, highlighting the severity of the situation. The station’s surroundings were quickly cordoned off to allow emergency services to work unhindered.
Central Line Disrupted, Firefighters on Scene
The Central line ground to a halt with services suspended and major delays reported well into the evening. Fire crews from Kensington, North Kensington, and Paddington stations also joined the response effort.
A BTP spokeswoman said, “Officers are working alongside firefighters who have been called to assist at Notting Hill Underground Station.”
