Knife Attack on Green Street: Man Jailed for Four Years
Florin Suta, 41, from Green Street, High Wycombe, has been locked up for four years following a brutal stabbing. He pleaded guilty at Aylesbury Crown Court to wounding with intent, carrying an offensive weapon, and failing to notify the police of his new address – a legal requirement as a registered sex offender.
Stabbed in the Back During Late-Night Row
The shocking attack happened just before midnight on 14 July. Officers rushed to Green Street after reports of a disturbance involving several people. They found a man in his thirties with a serious stab wound to his back.
Witnesses quickly pointed the finger at Suta, who was caught holding a knife nearby. CCTV footage revealed he sprang from a nearby alley, stabbed the victim, then chased him down the street before tripping and falling.
Public Helped Police Snare Armed Attacker
Police arrested Suta on the spot, discovering he’d been living at a different address than registered, breaching his notification duties. Detecting officer DC Will Blundell praised local residents for their quick action:
“Suta launched a targeted knife attack with clear intent to injure. He continued to carry the knife while calling police, showing no remorse. Thankfully, no one else was hurt thanks to members of the public who identified him quickly. This swift community response helped us bring him to justice.”
