Kent Police rushed to an alley off Old Bridge Road at around 12:24am on Sunday, 17 December 2023, after reports of a man being violently attacked.
Victim Hospitalised with Stab Wounds
The victim was rushed to a London hospital with stab wounds. Thankfully, he is now in a stable condition, but the brutal assault has left the community shaken.
Suspect Charged—Court Date Set
Lewis Day, 25, from Hereson Road, Ramsgate, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a knife in public. He is due to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 18 December.
Two Others Arrested and Released on Bail
- A 32-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman were also arrested but have since been bailed pending further enquiries.
