Thieves Smash O2 Shop in Farnborough, Snatch Three Phones

Two brazen thieves stormed an O2 store in Farnborough, ripping mobile phones straight off their mounts before making a hasty getaway. Police are now hunting for witnesses and info.

It happened just before 1.15pm on Saturday, 21 July. The pair walked calmly into the O2 Shop in The Meads Shopping Centre. They browsed the phone display before suddenly yanking three handsets free while threatening staff.

£2,489 Worth of Phones Stolen

  • Black Samsung Galaxy S9+ (£884)
  • Gold Apple iPhone 7 Plus (£721)
  • Black Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (£884)

The culprits made off with all three phones.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Detective Constable Jonathan Duggan urged anyone near the scene or offered these phones for sale to come forward.

“We are working hard to crack this case. No detail is too small. If you recognise these men or know anything, call 101 quoting 44180275628.”
