Prince and Princess of Wales Share Heartwarming Christmas Photo of Their Children

The Prince and Princess of Wales have delighted the world this Christmas with a heartwarming new photograph of their children: Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte, and Prince George.

The touching image, captured in black and white, features the three Wales children wearing joyful smiles as they eagerly pose for the camera. Princess Charlotte stands at the center, affectionately embracing her younger brothers.

Sharing their festive greetings on social media, the royal couple wrote: “Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas, from our family to yours!

The photograph was skillfully taken by photographer Josh Shinner.

In the image, Princess Charlotte, dressed in jeans and a white blouse with her blonde hair flowing, sits in the middle with her arms lovingly draped around her brothers. Her radiant smile perfectly matches the warmth in her embrace.

On the left, Prince Louis, wearing shorts and a white shirt, sits with one leg playfully lifted in the air and his head turned towards his sister.

Prince George, who mirrors his sister’s joyful expression, joins the group in jeans and a white shirt.

This heartwarming portrait was unveiled shortly after 9 a.m. on Christmas morning, adding a special touch to the holiday celebration.

The release of this charming image followed the family’s attendance at Princess Kate’s Christmas Carol Concert at Westminster Abbey, which was broadcast the previous night. The concert focused on her early years campaign and featured Prince Louis, who stole the show with his endearing antics, including playful expressions and helping to blow out his sister’s candle.

On Christmas Day, the Wales family is set to join the King and Queen in celebrating the holiday alongside other members of the royal family at Sandringham. The private Norfolk estate has long been the venue for traditional royal festivities.

In the morning, Charles and Camilla are expected to attend the morning service at St Mary Magdalene Church, along with the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. The King and Queen, accompanied by the Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, attended a Christmas Eve service at the church on Sunday, where they greeted well-wishers as part of the customary royal Christmas tradition.

The holiday celebration will also include a family lunch featuring turkey and all the traditional trimmings, in keeping with the royal Christmas traditions.

This year, King Charles’s second Christmas message as monarch will be broadcast at 3 p.m. The message was recorded in the Centre Room at Buckingham Palace, which leads to the iconic balcony. The room is adorned with a living Christmas tree, set to be replanted after the broadcast. Sustainable and natural decorations, such as hand-turned wood, dried oranges, glass baubles, pine cones, and paper adorn the tree’s branches.

The King’s speech this year is set to focus on environmental issues, marking a departure from the typically apolitical speeches given by his mother, the late Queen Elizabeth.
