Avon & Somerset Police in Bristol are appealing to the public for information to identify two men captured in a CCTV image related to an unprovoked assault in the city centre

The incident, which occurred on Saturday, November 16, left a 17-year-old boy with cuts, bruising, and ongoing headaches after being struck with what is believed to be a wrench on Millennium Promenade.

During the assault, a second person, an 18-year-old man, was also struck but did not sustain any injuries. The police have released a CCTV image of the two individuals they are seeking to identify in connection with the investigation.

One of the men is described as black, in his early twenties, of slim build, wearing a black padded jacket, black jogging bottoms with a blue Nike logo, and carrying a black backpack with a white logo. The second man is also black, in his early twenties, of average build, wearing a grey padded jacket, a black hat, black jogging bottoms, and carrying a similar backpack.

The authorities are urging anyone who recognises either of the individuals or possesses information relevant to the case to come forward. Witnesses or those with information are encouraged to contact the police by calling 101 and providing the reference number 5223280415.
