Pub Brawl Horror: Man Hit Over Head with Pint Glass in Shoreditch
A man in his 30s suffered a brutal attack at the Crown and Shuttle pub on Shoreditch High Street late on Saturday, 30 September 2023. The victim got into a tussle with two unknown men around 10:30pm.
One of the suspects smashed a pint glass over the victim’s head before fleeing the scene.
Victim Hospitalised with Serious Head Injuries
The victim was rushed to hospital with a nasty head wound. He needed stitches and faces a lengthy recovery. Thankfully, he has now been discharged and is receiving ongoing support from police.
Police Hunt Two Men After Savage Glass Attack
“This was a brutal attack that left the victim with a serious injury requiring months of healing,” said PC Oliver Barlow, leading the investigation.
“We have spoken to witnesses, reviewed CCTV footage, and identified two men we want to question. We’re urging anyone who was at the Crown and Shuttle pub that night to come forward if you recognise these men or have any information.”
Detectives stress that any tip-offs could be the key to cracking the case wide open.
