Appeal for Witnesses after Toddler Injured in Brighton Hit-and-Run

A toddler was injured in a hit-and-run incident on Springfield Road in Brighton.

The police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward with any relevant information.

The incident took place on Sunday, January 14, around 2.15 pm, when a car struck the young child. Shockingly, the driver involved in the incident did not stop at the scene.

A witness who observed the distressing event described the vehicle as a small, grey car.

The injured child was promptly taken to the hospital. Fortunately, medical assessments suggest that the toddler is expected to make a full recovery from the injuries sustained.
