Norwich Man Charged with Multiple Sexual Offences
Alexandru Tapurin, 35, from Tizzick Close, Norwich, has been charged with several sexual offences following incidents over the weekend. He was arrested on Sunday, January 21, 2024, on suspicion of sexual assault and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Serious Allegations Filed
Tapurin faces three counts of sexual assault at different locations across Norwich. Additional charges include false imprisonment and causing a woman aged 16 or over to engage in non-penetrative sexual activity. The alleged offences occurred between January 20 and 21, 2024.
Held in Custody Ahead of Crown Court Hearing
On Tuesday, January 23, 2024, Tapurin appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court where he was remanded in custody. His next hearing is set for February 20 at Norwich Crown Court.
