Jason Williams, 34, from St Peter’s Road, was found dead in Russell Howard Park just before 1:30am on Tuesday 20 February. Police launched an urgent murder investigation.
Family Breaks Silence
Jason’s father, Victor Williams, expressed heartache over the loss. He said: “Jason will be sadly missed by his family.” An image of Jason has been released by his loved ones as they grieve.
Two Arrested in Murder Probe
- Two men, aged 34 and 37, both local to Basingstoke, were arrested on suspicion of murder.
- They remain in custody after magistrates granted a 36-hour detention extension.
