Police Appeal for Information Following Serious Assault in Tilbury

Police are urging the public to come forward with any information regarding a serious assault that occurred in Tilbury on Saturday night.

The incident took place on Calcutta Road shortly after 9:45 pm, when emergency services responded to reports of a man being assaulted by a group of individuals. The victim, a man in his 40s, sustained significant injuries after being punched to the head during the attack.

He was promptly transported to the hospital for medical treatment.

Essex Police are now reaching out to anyone who may have witnessed the assault or has pertinent information regarding the incident. Investigators are particularly interested in obtaining CCTV footage, dash cam recordings, or any other relevant evidence that could aid in their inquiries.
