Officers are appealing for information after it was alleged a woman was sexually assaulted in Tunbridge Wells

Police are seeking witnesses after a pedestrian sustained serious injuries in a collision with a car in Rochester.

The incident occurred around 12:25 am on Thursday, February 22, 2024, on Crow Lane. The victim, a woman in her 30s, was involved in a collision with a blue Ford Eco Sport car. The driver of the car reportedly left the scene following the incident.

Emergency services promptly responded, and the injured woman was transported to a London hospital for treatment of head injuries. She is currently in stable condition under medical care.

Investigators are eager to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident. Of particular interest are two men who were walking near the victim just before the collision. These individuals are said to have provided first aid to the victim before leaving the scene.

In connection with the incident, two local men, both 18 years old, were arrested in the early hours of the morning. They remain in custody as inquiries into the matter continue.
