Man Arrested Over Shocking Shoreditch Crossbow Attacks
Stanislaw Everett has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after two terrifying crossbow attacks rocked Shoreditch, East London. The 20-year-old was hauled in following a dramatic police raid on his Shoreditch home late Sunday night.
Armed Police Storm Shoreditch Property
Metropolitan Police officers, backed by the Tactical Support Group (TSG), swooped on Everett’s residence in an intelligence-led operation. The raid came amid growing tension in the community after the crossbow incidents sparked alarm across Shoreditch.
One neighbour, who wished to remain anonymous, said Everett was seen out walking his dogs the day before his arrest.
Victims Injured in Crossbow Attacks
The latest attack struck near Arnold Circus at around 7:27 pm, leaving a 20-year-old man with a neck injury caused by a crossbow bolt. This was just 60 metres from the site of the first attack, adding to fears gripping the area.
Weapons Cache Discovered, Police Urge Public to Help
During the raid, police found a stockpile of weapons including a crossbow and knives. Detective Chief Superintendent James Conway praised the swift police response and thanked the local community for their support. He urged anyone with information to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
“This case is complex and far from over,” Conway said. “We will maintain a strong police presence in the area to keep residents safe.”
