Several cases were heard at Bromley and Bexley Magistrates’ Courts on Friday, May 3, 2024, resulting in various individuals being sentenced for their offences.
Martin Robertson, 45, residing on Honley Road in Hither Green, pleaded guilty to burglary at The Co-op food store in Tulse Hill on February 8. He also admitted to a racially/religiously aggravated public order offence against a police officer on the same date, as well as assaulting a woman at Stockwell Tube Station on August 1. Robertson was sentenced to a one-year community order, with a specific condition banning him from being within 100 yards of The Co-op.
Moureik Ebanks, an 18-year-old resident of Saints Close in Norwood, admitted to possessing a machete on March 15 at Loampit Vale in Lewisham, along with possession of cannabis on the same date. Ebanks received a one-year community order, which included 60 hours of unpaid work.
Terry Whittle, aged 54 and residing on Wellington Street in Woolwich, pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman on April 11. Whittle was sentenced to a community order, with a restraining order also issued.
Phillip Collins, 47, from Gertrude Road in Belvedere, admitted to stealing cash from a motor vehicle in Thamesmead on November 4. Additionally, he pleaded guilty to burglary at Snap Fitness in Belvedere on November 24, involving the theft of cash, charging cables, and confectionery. Collins was handed a one-year community order and was prohibited from entering Snap Fitness premises.
Kelvin Nunez Valenzuela, aged 36 and residing on Brightfield Road in Lewisham, admitted to drug driving and possession of cannabis in Lewisham on October 16. As a result, he was disqualified from driving for one year and fined £120.
