Shoppers in Croydon were left stunned after a stabbing broke out in the bustling North End shopping district.
Police Rush to Scene as Victim Found with Leg Wound
At around 6.19pm on Monday, May 13, police were called to North End following reports of a stabbing. Officers, aided by the London Ambulance Service, found a man suffering from a stab wound to his leg.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital for urgent treatment. His condition remains unknown as medics continue care.
No Arrests Yet as CID Launches Investigation
So far, no arrests have been made. Crime scenes have been set up and inquiries are ongoing to piece together what happened.
The South Area Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is leading the probe, focused on gathering evidence and tracking down the attacker(s).
