In the early hours of yesterday morning (May 16), police were summoned to Portland Road in South Norwood in response to reports of a burglary. The incident, which occurred at approximately 4 am, prompted a swift and decisive response from armed Police officers.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers observed several individuals fleeing from the premises, signalling potential involvement in the reported crime. In the wake of the commotion, authorities wasted no time in taking action.
Subsequently, a 28-year-old male suspect was apprehended by law enforcement personnel on suspicion of aggravated burglary. Additionally, he faces allegations of possession with intent to supply drugs, further compounding the severity of the situation.
