Two Teens Charged with Murder of Codie Bambrick
Two 17-year-old boys have been charged with the murder of 18-year-old Codie Bambrick, who died in a violent incident on Wednesday, May 22. The suspects’ names are being withheld due to their age. Alongside murder, they face charges of violent disorder and conspiracy.

- Conspiracy to Commit Violent Disorder: The pair allegedly conspired to cause violent disorder during the events surrounding Codie’s death. Full circumstances are yet to be revealed.
- Violent Disorder: A third 17-year-old has been charged with violent disorder linked to the incident on Glazebrook Road.
- Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm: This third teen also faces a charge of assault causing actual bodily harm; details are currently undisclosed.
- Possession of an Offensive Weapon in a Public Place: The same individual is charged with carrying an offensive weapon publicly. The type of weapon has not been specified.
Ongoing Investigation and Additional Arrests
In connection with the tragedy, a 38-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder. Both have since been released on bail pending further investigation.
Separately, a 52-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. He was later released under investigation as inquiries continue.
