Northamptonshire Police have arrested a 57-year-old woman in connection with the death of a newborn baby girl more than four decades ago. The suspect, whose identity remains undisclosed, was taken into custody on suspicion of murder.
The case dates back to May 1982 when the body of the infant was discovered in northampton/" title="northampton" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-wpil-monitor-id="24950">Northampton. At the time, a major police investigation was conducted, but no one was ever prosecuted, and the inquiry was eventually closed in 1993.
