Goose Killing Spree in Dartford Under Investigation

An alarming incident involving the deaths of multiple geese has occurred in Dartford, raising concerns among local residents and authorities. Reports indicate that around eight geese were found dead on Anchor Boulevard, outside the office buildings in the Crossways Business Park area.

Initial posts on social media suggested that the birds had been run over, but subsequent examinations revealed what appeared to be gunshot wounds on some of the geese. This has led to speculation that the incident may have been a deliberate act of cruelty.

A resident who discovered the dead geese commented, “It’s such a shame and probably deliberate. It’s not the main road, and it’s usually a very quiet area.

Efforts to contact the RSPCA for assistance have so far been unsuccessful. However, Kent Police have confirmed they are investigating the incident and have been approached for further comments.

The police reference number for this case is 21-0915. We urge anyone with information about this incident to come forward,” a spokesperson from Kent Police said.

Local authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or who has information on the potential suspects to contact the police immediately. Residents are also being encouraged to report any suspicious activity in the area.

As the investigation continues, the community remains on edge, hoping for a swift resolution to this unsettling event.

For those seeking to provide information, please contact Kent Police with the reference number 21-0915.
