Police are appealing for witnesses following a tragic collision that occurred in Hailsham on Friday, 2 August.
Officers were called to the scene of a collision involving a Yamaha MT motorcycle and a Dacia Sandero on Ersham Road at approximately 4:00 pm. Sadly, a 20-year-old man from East Preston, who was the rider of the Yamaha, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin has been informed.
The driver of the Dacia, a 68-year-old man from Croydon, sustained minor injuries in the incident.
Sussex Police are currently investigating to establish the full circumstances surrounding the collision. They are urging any witnesses or individuals with information or dashcam footage to come forward.
