Follow These Diversions to Avoid the Snarl-Up

Motorists are advised to follow the Hollow Circle diversion signs. Here’s the official diversion route:

  1. Exit M23 at Junction 11 and head west on the A264 towards the A24 junction.
  2. Join the A24 southbound and continue to the A283 junction.
  3. Take the A283 southeast towards the A27.
  4. Follow the A27 eastbound towards Brighton to rejoin the A23.

Travel bosses urge drivers to expect delays, plan extra time, or consider postponing journeys if possible.
