Missing Man Alert: Richard Rodrigues Disappears in Peckham
Police are urgently searching for Richard Rodrigues, 29, who vanished from Peckham on 13 September. Richard is non-verbal and communicates through sign language.
Last Seen Near Camberwell Road
He was last spotted in the Camberwell Road area (SE5) on 16 September. Richard is known to travel using public transport and has ties across London. Officers are working closely with transport authorities across the capital to track his movements.
Family’s Worries Grow
“Richard’s family are understandably worried, and the longer he remains missing, the more the concern grows for his welfare,” said Detective Inspector Jay Navaratnarajah of the Met’s Public Protection Department. “We have pursued numerous lines of enquiry and are in regular contact with our partners across the transport network.”
Possible Contact and Appeal for Help
Police believe Richard may have tried to reach out via a messaging app in the early hours of 20 September. If it was him, officers urge Richard to contact them or visit a police station to confirm he is safe.
