A 31-year-old man has been charged with multiple counts of rape following an incident in Crawley over the weekend.
Police responded to a report of the rape of a woman in the Broadfield Barton area of Crawley shortly after 4am on Saturday, 21 September. The victim was located safely and is now receiving support from specialist officers.
The suspect, Hyusein Hyusein, 31, of Grand Bay, Broadfield Barton, Crawley, has been charged with three counts of rape. He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Crawley Magistrates’ Court today (23 September).
Another man, aged 30, was also arrested on suspicion of rape but has since been released on bail while investigations continue.
