Woman Hospitalised Following Collision on Tower Bridge

A woman has been taken to hospital after a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Tower Bridge Road on Tuesday, September 24.
Road closures were briefly implemented while emergency services attended the scene. The roads have since reopened.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
Police were called at 16:02hrs to Tower Bridge Road after a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. The woman has been taken to hospital, and her injuries have been assessed as not life-threatening. There have been no arrests.”

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson added:
“We were called at 3:53 p.m. yesterday (Tuesday, September 24) to reports of a road traffic collision on Tower Bridge Road. We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews and a paramedic in a response car. Our crews treated a woman at the scene, before taking her to hospital.”

The incident led to minor disruptions in the area, but roads have since reopened to traffic.
