A London Underground train derailed as it entered the depot sidings at Upminster, causing significant disruptions to the District Line services. No services are currently running between Dagenham East and Upminster as emergency crews work to assess and rectify the situation.

Passengers are being advised to seek alternative travel routes, with replacement buses being arranged to assist those affected.
A spokesperson for TfL said, “We are working hard to understand what caused this incident and to resume services as quickly and safely as possible. We apologize for the disruption and advise passengers to check for updates before travelling.
