Masked thieves raid Kirkby-in-Ashfield beauty salon in broad daylight
Brazen break-in at Ayelashes salon
Nottinghamshire Police are hunting two masked robbers who stormed Ayelashes beauty salon on Victoria Road, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, just after 6pm on October 1, 2024. The pair burst in demanding cash. Inside at the time were a staff member and a customer.
Cash, handbag and gadgets snatched
The thugs snatched the customer’s handbag, making off with her mobile phone and AirPods. Luckily, no one was hurt during the terrifying ordeal.
Police appeal for dashcam footage and witnesses
Detective Sergeant Matthew Dumbrell said: “This was a distressing incident for everyone involved. We are determined to catch those responsible. We urge anyone who saw anything, especially drivers with dashcam footage nearby, to come forward immediately.”
